Blueline Peanut & Crop Dryers

Still setting the standards.

"Hard work, specialized skill & simply loving our neighbor is what built Blueline Dryers."

We started Blueline Dryers, a family-owned company, to solve crop drying issues brought to us by friends. A conversation among friends resulted in a dryer that quickly became the most efficient crop drying method on the market. These same principles continue to guide our design and developments in Blueline dryers, our sales and unmatched service & our employees' actions each and every day.

Blueline dryers are simple in design and operation, energy-efficient and trouble-free. Realizing that no one design is perfect for every need, Blueline's engineers have pooled their more than eighty years of experience to create this versatile line of crop dryers.

With six basic models and many variations, one is certain to meet your drying needs: increased production, lower energy consumption, higher product quality, greater safety and minimum maintenance and downtime. While we specialize in peanut drying and curing, Blueline also offers dryers for pecans, onions, walnuts, almonds, and other crops.

Tailoring fan and burner characteristics to the optimum curing parameters for specific crops can put more profit into your operation. We are constantly receiving input from owners, operators, service technicians and engineers. This ongoing research helps Blueline lead the field in dryer technology.

Standard Features

Every Blueline Dryer features aerodynamic, stainless steel burners for long life and greater reliability, and are available for use with LP vapor or natural gas. Burner and fan control power are separately derived from 115 volt transformers inside the control panel.

  • No burner power is available until power has been supplied to fan
  • Purge timer delays ignition for 15 seconds, allowing fan to disperse any accumulated gas
  • All controls and control wiring are protected by internal circuit breakers
  • High limit switch interrupts power for ignition and gas if internal temperature exceeds 200ºF
  • Gas solenoid valve closes upon ignition failure or flameout
  • The fan motor is protected by a magnetic starter with quick-trip overload heaters, or solid state overload
  • 12-hour timer, with HOLD feature, to shut down the dryer at a predetermined time when desired
  • All metal surfaces primed and painted with industrial enamel
  • The cast aluminum propeller blade is non-overloading and precisely balanced for maximum airflow per kilowatt
  • Each unit is thoroughly checked and then test-fired to insure proper performance
  • 50 hertz models for LP Vapor or natural gas are available for export
  • Specifications and product details are subject to change without notice

Models 3830 & 3825: 45' Semi-Trailer Peanut Dryers

Since being introduced in 1998, these dryers have proven to be ideal for both high volume and high quality curing of peanuts. Curing times are comparable to conventional trailers holding from four to seven tons, with drying uniformity that exceeds that found in smaller trailers. Feedback from our customers indicates that the use of correctly matched semi-trailers and semi-trailer dryers can have a significant impact on your energy costs. Blueline’s Semi-trailer peanut dryers have been proving themselves since 1998, with over 1,000 dryers in operation at 100's of locations throughout the Southeast and Southwest.

  • Dry 22 to 28 tons of peanuts in the same time as typical 4 to 7 ton loads; semi trailers can safely cover greater distances, allowing a larger customer base
  • Reduce labor costs and paperwork by handling fewer trailers; reduce maintenance costs by operating fewer trailers and dryers
  • A well-designed semi trailer and dryer combination has been shown to dry peanuts more uniformly than conventional 14’ and 21’ trailers, and the peanuts are handled fewer times
  • Semi trailers are inherently safer on the highway than conventional trailers

Models 3610 & 3610-C

Peanut Dryer for two 21' Trailers or one 28' Semi Pup

  • Designed for high speed and high quality drying with two 21' trailers as well as for one 28' semi trailer "PUP"
  • Dries 10 to 17 ton batches
  • Equivalent or greater airflow per trailer than typical single-trailer dryers
  • Mobile chassis and skid mount available like the 3830s

Model 3208: Peanut Dryer for one 28' Trailer

  • Quiet, high speed curing of one 28' peanut trailer
  • 8 - 13 tons
  • Available with swing arm or skid mounting
  • Almost twice the airflow of typical single trailer dryers, with only 20% more horsepower

NOTE: This unit is designed for peanuts, pecans, and onions. It is NOT for use with grains.

Model 2712: Peanut Dryer for two 14' Trailers

  • Designed for two 14' or 21' Peanut Trailers
  • 7 to 10 tons
  • On a per trailer basis this is our most economical dryer to buy and to operate
  • Delivers optimal airflow for high speed curing of two 14’ trailers, or high efficiency curing of two 21’ trailers
  • Balanced heat and airflow to each trailer for uniform curing
  • Blueline’s 100% stainless steel ring burner, combined with our special plenum design delivers balanced heat and airflow to each trailer. By deleting the plenum, the 2712 makes an ideal dryer for curing pecans in fixed bins.
